My favorite part of this clip is at the end, when the knitter it trying to figure out what to do with her idle hands - perhaps she will want to learn to embroider, hmmmm!
Hi, CiCi: this is Marjorie Holme from NANI guild. We are working on a list for the chapter newsletter of members' blogs/flickr accounts. Would it be okay if we included your blog? Ever since Carol Parry told me about it, I visit regularly. I really enjoyed the video I found today. Thanks, Marjorie (holme9@gmail.com, http://moonsilk-stitches.blogspot.com/)
Although trained and working as a lawyer, my passion is as a contemporary needlework teacher, finisher, and owner of Cici Case Designs and Miss Cici’s Finishing School located in Northeast Indiana.
My needlework classes emphasize the use of multiple fibers, textures, color and depth as created through the many stitch combinations found in today’s needlework designs (counted cross stitch, specialty stitches, hardanger, drawn thread, and others). Bringing the completed design to life, striving for perfection as created through stitching, and innovative finishing techniques are my trademarks. The hallmark of my work is the construction of the finished product as demonstrated through Miss Cici’s Finishing School.
In addition to classes at stitching shops, I have taught embroidery and finishing at EGA and ANG guild events, Hoosier Stitchers’ events, and internet forums throughout the area.
I measure my success through the achievements of my students, from the beginner to the advanced, as they seek to improve and enhance their needlework and finishing skills.

Could we be that obsessed with cross stitching? I guess I could use my hair for thread.
