Projects like this really separate the men from the boys, to use an old expression...I'm a 'boy' in this case! What a fabulous design; I tried to get a closeup but couldn't get it any larger than one size up. Even then I could still see what a complex project it would have been.
It's gorgeous! I have this one in my stash. Whether I'll ever stitch it or not is another question, but seeing yours posted has given me a little motivation to at least consider it for my next large project!
I guess I will have to figure out how to make my pictures "grow". It is a lovely design with lots of specialty stitches. I have a few others completed by the same designer but this one might have been my favorite.
Although trained and working as a lawyer, my passion is as a contemporary needlework teacher, finisher, and owner of Cici Case Designs and Miss Cici’s Finishing School located in Northeast Indiana.
My needlework classes emphasize the use of multiple fibers, textures, color and depth as created through the many stitch combinations found in today’s needlework designs (counted cross stitch, specialty stitches, hardanger, drawn thread, and others). Bringing the completed design to life, striving for perfection as created through stitching, and innovative finishing techniques are my trademarks. The hallmark of my work is the construction of the finished product as demonstrated through Miss Cici’s Finishing School.
In addition to classes at stitching shops, I have taught embroidery and finishing at EGA and ANG guild events, Hoosier Stitchers’ events, and internet forums throughout the area.
I measure my success through the achievements of my students, from the beginner to the advanced, as they seek to improve and enhance their needlework and finishing skills.

This turned out well. I like the dark frame & mat you selected
When i went to House of Stitches for a frame, I ended up with a light frame w/o mat. The frame is sort of a taupe metallic.
I'm looking forward to putting the sampler on display during the NANI exhibit in october.
